sharpened pencils, a new lunchbox, and....
My first day of grad school started yesterday. I will share my many thoughts on this later. For now, I give you my back-to-school picture, obligingly taken by my live-in school photographer, Kat.

those bangs are no joke! i see a sponge roller stuck firmly on your head the night before.
oddly enough, this post just got me all courageous for my first day of school on monday. i really wish i had a lunch box, though.
